"Soulico are four DJs from Tel Aviv, first tipped to us by Diplo and Mad Decent Radio last July but apparently something of an underground institution in their hometown. They've got an album due on October 6th called Exotic On The Speaker, featuring collaborations with people like Del The Funkee Homosapien, Ghostface, MC Zulu, and new Mom-to-be Rye Rye, who lights up the title track with her usual attitudinal grace. Definitely a little weird hearing her rap over what sounds like pitchshfited rebab samples, but that's not to say that it doesn't bang." - RCRD LBL
