WHY DO YOU GUYS DJ?

(JR) Jer and I pondered this a while back and we came to the conclusion that its all about that moment that you see your whole dancefloor throw their hands in the air and scream in joy about what your playing. Those people are living in the moment, they arent thinking of anything at all...no bills, no wars, nothing.

WHAT GENRE IS MOVING YOU AT THIS MOMENT?

(DJD) Anything Tiesto makes. I personally just cant explain the feeling I get when I listen to his cd's, alone, at night.



(JR) Ya....I guess its more about what moves the people. We just find what fits the mood, and try and play it in a unique way.

WHO IS GONIG THE WIN THE US ELECTION?

(DJD) Hopefully Obama, he seems to be the least corrupted, I suppose he hasnt been there long enough to become that way. He seems to have the capabilty to unite the country in peace as apposed to more war.
(JR) I agree with Jer, but although he doesn't have a shot in hell I think Ron Paul would be the best candidate to turn it all around. Its too bad that Major media types like Time magazine, and Fox News have boycotted him. I bet most people don't even know he's still running. But thats just it...big government doesnt want to advertise what might destroy them, and with Ron Paul talking about replacing the gold standard and abolishing central agencies and also bringing home all 500 thousand troops, you can see how big government might want to shut that up.

(DJD) It isnt!??
(JR) I wouldn't know....actually today is my anniversary for being straight edge :)

(DJD) I think in the end it just comes down to how many shots the girls had.

WHAT FOOD MAKES THE WORST FARTS?

(JR) PROTEIN SHAKES!! since become vegetarian the apartment has become a lethal gas chamber
(DJD) ...no shit (minus the pun)

WHY SHOULD PARTY PEOPLE COME TO YOUR NIGHT?

(DJD) Because were party people!
(JR) Agreed, but what I think sets our night aside is that we are there to entertain...not just play one style of music. It has fun little quirks here and there and you have a couple of guy at the front doing ray charles impressions, or dancing like geeks. You might here a song you forgot about, played in a different way, remixed or mashed up. We put a lot of thought into it as to provide a nice elevating flow to the night and feature not only popular music but music that hasnt been engulfed in the mainstream.
(DJD) Ya...it feels like a house party....and everyone loves house party's!

WHO HAS INFLUENCED THE SOUL'D OUT DJ'S?

(DJD) Tiesto! hahaha!!
(JR) Ive had many influences. I would have to thank my buddy Easty from Australia for introducing me to the funky breaks, which led me into playing funky hip hop. To give you an idea of what were playing a quick list would include guys like: A Skills and Krafty Kuts, Small Town Dj's, Dave Nada, Bird Peterson, AGFA, Steve Angello, Eric Prydz, Chris Lake, Top Billin, and of course we throw in our own tracks and remixes too.
